I just logged onto blogger and saw my last post was the 19th July, Time is going by so quickly these days, wow!
Anyways, I'm back with another post, this time its to do with two recent graphics that I have created.
Recently Fault magazine released their latest issue with Dannii Minogue as their cover girl - which I was so happy about, as Fault is sold in the UK YIPPEEE! The magazine released a few images which are featured in the magazine. One of the photos in particular I thought, WOW! I can design another front cover for Fault Magazine using that image. With being a fan of the magazine and a fan of the cover girl it was the perfect combination. Up popped Photoshop and I began to work on the image with the mindset to create something different which would stand out. I particularly love lines and boxes on graphics recently. Around three hours passed and I created seven drafts of the same cover, which all had a slight different effect on each. I finally settled on posting one of the covers with a little help and tagged the magazine's twitter handle to photo credit their image (all the photos from the magazine are incredible and you should check them out - link to buy the magazine will be below!!) I tweeted the image and thought nothing of it, until I got a tweet back from the magazine asking if they could run the cover I made on their offical Facebook site.. Wow I thought, I'd be so privileged. I never thought anything like that would happen as it was such a spontaneous cover that I created and I was honestly so thrilled and excited.

Another graphic I made was using images from Dannii Minogue's Target petites range. You may or may not know but in Australia Dannii Minogue has her own petites range with the homely brand Target which hits stores on 07/08/2014. Recently the look book for Dannii's collection was launched online. Now, with me, if I like a certain photo shoot or set of photographs I will try and put my own twist on things and create a graphic. I scanned through the look book online and the clothes I have seen are amazing, (a few pieces I would buy myself, if only I was petite - doh!) Any how my favourite colour schemes recently for graphics and (always) for photography are black and white. I feel black and white images are so classy. I picked out the clothes which had a black and white(also grey) theme and loaded them into Photoshop. That's when the magic begins to happen, by the time I had finished creating the graphic a few hours had passed and it ended up looking like a high end fashion promotion poster - which I love!

That's it for this post, let me know what you think of the graphics. Like they say, practice makes perfect!!
Chow for now :)
