My first blog post is a little something I worked on for my university portfolio. I combined one of my favourite fashion magazines; 'Company' and an image which I previously shot as part of a photography unit at college. When designing the front cover I settled on the 'main' colour scheme being blue. This is because it works well with the denim dress that the model is wearing.
I particularly liked putting the text together and choosing the correct fonts. I thought the different backgrounds behind the text made the front cover look more quirky and it worked! I also liked researching the different topics to place on the front with the theme being 1990's (My favourite era for fashion). Overall I'm proud of how the front cover has turned out and look forward to making more fashion magazine front covers for other projects; one of them being my final major project at college which starts in April.
I'm looking forward to starting university in September and developing my skills further in Fashion Graphics as well as hoping to develop more in photography.
